Wallet-gated rooms for OTC deals

A room only two wallets can enter.

Open a room for your counterparty's address and send them the link. To get in, they sign a message with that wallet — so the person on the other side is the owner of the address you are dealing with, not somebody who copied a profile picture. Then you talk directly, browser to browser.

You will be asked to connect your wallet and sign on the next screen.

Impersonation is impossible

Fake accounts are how OTC deals get robbed: a copied avatar, a lookalike handle, a convincing tone. Here the door does not read a name. You write down one address when you open the room, and the only way in is a signature from that address — which needs the private key, not a resemblance.

Nothing to hand over

No email, no phone number, no Google, no password. The account is the wallet you already have. What the database holds while a room is open is two addresses and two random strings; when the last tab closes, the row is deleted.

Encrypted between the two of you

Voice, video, screen and chat travel on one direct WebRTC connection, encrypted with keys the two browsers negotiate between themselves. Read the safety number aloud once and you have checked, yourselves, that nobody is in the middle.

How it goes

  1. 01

    Connect your wallet

One signature. It costs nothing and sends no transaction.

  2. 02

    Write down their address

The room is opened for exactly one counterparty and never for anyone else.

  3. 03

    Send the link anywhere

Telegram, Discord, email — it does not matter. A link on its own opens nothing.

  4. 04

    They sign, you talk

Chat, voice, video, screen. Direct between the two browsers, with the server out of the way.

  5. 05

    Close the tab

The lease stops, the row is swept, and there is no transcript anywhere to ask for.

Free, and not the trial kind

Every room has the same features, no minutes to buy and no seat to upgrade. There is a donation address for anyone who wants to use it, and nothing is unlocked in return — the room could not tell the difference in any case. What the server can and cannot see →
